How to Make the Perfect Mojito:
Ingredients per serve: 60mL white rum, 30mL fresh lime juice, 15mL simple syrup, 8–10 fresh mint leaves, 60mL soda water, ice cubes
Method:
- Add mint leaves and lime juice to a highball glass
- Gently muddle to release the mint oils
- Add simple syrup and fill glass with ice
- Pour white rum over the ice
- Top with soda water and stir gently
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge
